How Your Donation Helps SACM This Giving Tuesday

Here at Students Against Child Marriage (SACM), we are so excited to be participating in our first annual #GivingTuesday! Giving Tuesday focuses on our activism to help the thousands of children who have been forced into child marriages across the United States.

SACM is the first student-led nonprofit dedicated to closing legal loopholes and ending child marriage in the United States. We are made up of chapters all across the country. We advocate for raising the minimum age for marriage and support survivors of child marriage.

After launching, we are more than ready to provide opportunities for donations. These donations go directly towards our efforts in the fight to end child marriage. Whether it’s financing the actions taken by our chapters to contact lawmakers in unprecedented magnitude, supporting survivors who bravely testify to their experiences across the country, maintaining the nation’s first-ever child marriage research library, or countless other expenses, your generous contributions allow our organization to end this modern human rights crisis.

Each donation you give, whether that may be a $5, $10, $20, or more, helps Americans become mobilized in the movement to end child marriage. The donations fund our operations and a portion goes to our partners.

For more information on donating, please visit Students Against Child Marriage and click the link here for our official Giving Tuesday Fundraiser.

The official day to #celebrategiving is today, December 1st!

You can also support SACM by joining our team, joining a chapter, or starting a chapter. Also, be sure to follow us on social media for updates and more information about our fight to end child marriage. Today and every day our chapters are working to end child marriage. Please donate to join our fight and be a part of the change!
