Students Against Child Marriage's Object Summary:

In the first ever complete biography of Priscilla Beaulieu Presley, biographer Suzanne Finstead chronicles the life of Priscilla starting with her mother Ann, who was the force behind her daughter’s marriage to the Rockstar. Over two years of intense research, Finstead reconstructed the life of Priscilla Presley, conducting over 300 interviews with neighbors and friends, listening to Elvis’ music, and watching movies and interviews. These stories and eyewitness accounts are often contradictory to the Elvis lore that was laid out in Priscilla’s memoirs that were often contradictory to things she herself said in interviews. This biography attempts to unravel the web of lies and secrets surrounding the beginnings of the 28-year-old’s infatuation with 14-year-old Priscilla through their marriage, divorce, and afterwards.
